On June 6, 2021, the 20th birthday celebration of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory was grandly launched in Longsheng County, Guilin, focusing on the theme of 'Remembering our original intention and forging ahead', reviewing the stormy journey of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory over the past twenty years with leaders, guests, friends, and employees present.

Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Guilin Lijiang Tea Processing Factory, established in June 2001, and is a professional tea production enterprise. The company has a registered capital of 5 million yuan, owns more than 500 acres of high mountain tea garden base, and can utilize more than 10,000 local wild ancient tea trees; fixed assets of 3.04 million yuan, production area of 2,600 square meters, equipped with a complete set of raw tea processing equipment, high-quality tea processing equipment, refined processing equipment, fully automatic bagged tea processing equipment, and compressed tea processing equipment; the company has established a tea industry cooperative in the form of company + farmers, driving 315 tea farmers with a planting area of more than 2,000 acres; there are four direct sales stores and one branch in Guilin; basically forming an industrial pattern integrating planting, processing, sales, and scientific research.

Guest speeches

At the beginning of the conference, the company's chairman Huang Rongxiong recounted the arduous journey of the company's twenty years of hard work and expressed the determination to move forward; leaders at all levels congratulated and expressed their affirmation of the contributions made by Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory, hoping that we will continue to work hard and innovate, writing a new chapter.

Huang Rongxiong, with a bachelor's degree, tea engineering expert, currently serves as the legal representative, chairman, and general manager of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd.

In 1982, he studied mechanical tea-making at the Tea Department of Anhui Agricultural University, graduated in 1986 and was assigned to work at Guangxi Guilin Tea Factory; in June 2001, after the state-owned enterprise reform, Huang Rongxiong chose to seek his own path and founded Guilin Lijiang Tea Processing Factory, serving as chairman and general manager, engaging in the tea production and operation industry for over 30 years, and is a senior tea-making expert; registered the 'Lijiang Spring' trademark in 2003, and in 2010, the original Guilin Lijiang Tea Processing Factory was renamed 'Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd.'; under Huang Rongxiong's leadership, the company quickly grew into a tea company integrating tea planting, processing, sales, and research and development, covering the entire industry chain. Huang Rongxiong has successively become a member of the China Tea Circulation Association, a member of the China Tea Society, vice president of the Guangxi Tea Association, executive director of the Guangxi Tea Society, and president of the Guilin Tea Association. At the end of 1992, Guangxi Guilin Tea Factory appointed Huang Rongxiong as a tea engineering expert, and in 2014, he was registered as an expert in the 'Guangxi Tea Evaluation and Identification Expert Database' by the Guangxi Tea Society.

Zen Tea Performance

Osmanthus tea is one of the main types of tea in China, belonging to flower tea, made from osmanthus flowers and tea leaves, with a rich and lasting fragrance and bright soup color. The Middle Way Zen Dance is a method of self-cultivation that integrates Zen culture with dance art. Through the practitioner's own energy, the body is stretched, and in the dance, one becomes aware of the changes of thoughts, returning to the pure nature.

Before the performance began, the documentary 'Rare, Lijiang Spring' on osmanthus tea from 'China Brand Archives' was used to integrate osmanthus tea and Middle Way Zen Dance, forming a beautiful landscape.

On May 6, 2019, the Old Story Channel's 'China Brand Archives' special program team sent an inspection team to Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd., visited the company's tea garden, production workshop, and store, and had a very detailed and in-depth exchange with the company's chairman Huang Rongxiong on the origin, production processing, development status of osmanthus tea, and how Mr. Huang established the 'Lijiang Spring' brand, and his persistence in the osmanthus tea industry.

After a three-month review period, the topic 'Rare, Lijiang Spring' officially passed the strict material review and on-site inspection by the Old Story Channel's 'China Brand Archives' project team, qualifying for participation in the filming.

Due to the traditional craft of osmanthus tea being produced only during the blooming of osmanthus in the Mid-Autumn Festival, on October 22, 2019, director Liu Fenghua of the program "China Brand Archives" led a filming crew to Guilin, starting a 6-day shoot.

"Rare, Lijiang Spring" mainly tells the story of Mr. Huang Rongxiong, chairman of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd., who has insisted on making osmanthus tea for nearly 40 years. The film vividly narrates the entire process of traditional osmanthus tea production, starting from the selection of tea leaves and fresh osmanthus flowers to the infusion of tea and flowers.

After a short break, the signing ceremony began. The signing event invited special guests and the company chairman to witness the entire signing ceremony, which was divided into: technical cooperation strategic framework agreement and distributor signing ceremony.

New Product Launch Conference

After the exciting signing ceremony, the final segment arrived: the new product launch conference. This new product is a specially made ancient tree Liubao tea for the 20th anniversary of the factory establishment—Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory 20th Anniversary Commemorative Tea "Longji Ancient Tree Tea". At the same time, Director Wei Jingfeng of Guangxi Tea Science Research Institute commented on the unique quality characteristics of this tea, giving high recognition to its excellent quality. Now let's take a look at its charm.

Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory 20th Anniversary Commemorative Tea "Longji Ancient Tree Tea"

The packaging of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory Co., Ltd.'s 20th Anniversary Commemorative Tea Longji Ancient Tree Tea is based on a bright red color, with gold foil lettering, simple yet grand, reflecting the company's integrity and the philosophy of "tea and the world".

Inside the box, there is also a unique handmade cup produced by Dan Dan, each one is unique, and the bottom of the cup is engraved with the "Lijiang Spring" seal.

The first thing that catches the eye on the宣纸 of the tea cake is the artistic number 20 ribbon pattern, printed with "Stay true to the original aspiration and forge ahead", below it is the tea name "Longji Ancient Tree Tea", and surrounding it is the text "Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory 20th Anniversary Commemorative".

The tea cake uses ancient tree raw materials from the unique Longji wild population produced in 2017, and was supervised throughout by tea engineer Chairman Huang Rongxiong. The front of the tea cake is printed with "2001-2021 Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory 20th Anniversary Commemorative", and the back has the text "Tea and the world, for health" and "Produced by Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory".

At the new product launch conference, Director Wei Jingfeng of Guangxi Tea Science Research Institute gave the following quality comments on the new product:

Appearance: The cake shape is complete, black-brown and oily, with intact branches and leaves.

Aroma: The first infusion has a wildflower fragrance, followed by a pure aged aroma with a wild charm.

Soup Color: Bright red.

Taste: Smooth, rich, with a noticeable sweetness.

Leaf Bottom: Brown, oily, with intact branches and leaves.

Director Wei Jingfeng of Guangxi Tea Science Research Institute conducted a tasting explanation of the tea's quality characteristics.

The outer square and inner circle of the packaging reflect the company's philosophy of "integrity as the foundation, tea and the world".

Before the product subscription, the new product launch conference held a warm-up activity, allowing attendees to guess the new product's pricing. Participants eagerly joined in the guessing, reigniting the enthusiasm of the entire celebration. Finally, Vice President and Secretary-General of Guangxi Tea Association Wei Keying guessed the closest price and directly received a new product 20th anniversary commemorative tea. The subsequent product subscription announced by the chairman allowed all who subscribed on that day to obtain the new product at half price, further pushing the event to a climax, with attendees rushing to place orders.

In the midst of toasts, carrying full blessings and hopes for Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory, the 20th anniversary celebration of Guilin Lijiang Tea Factory gradually came to a close amidst laughter and joy.
